The Lumineers in Cincinnati Update, On Sale info

Due to unexpected and overwhelming demand, we decided to move our Cincinnati show to a larger venue to accommodate our fans who wanted to see us perform but couldn’t get tickets when the original show quickly sold out. Because the new venue, Riverbend Music Center, is closed the date of the original show, May 4, the the move necessitated a new date as well .

Our show in Cincinnati is now scheduled for June 4th, and more tickets will go on sale to the general public this upcoming Saturday, March 23rd, at 10 am EST.Tickets are available at http://tinyurl.com/lumineers-cincinnati-tickets

If you bought tickets for the original show date you do NOT need to purchase tickets again. If you are one of those who bought tickets to the May 4th show and have NOT heard from Ticketmaster, please contact Matt Dunne at mdunne@riverbend.org.

Unfortunately, Ticketmaster mistakenly announced this change to ticket holders before we could give you an explanation ourselves. We all apologize for the confusion and frustration this has caused you. We too are very frustrated by this. You all are very important to us and we’ve been working with our team on how to make the best of this situation.

All fans who have written us, the promoter, or posted on our Facebook page with ticket issues will be contacted directly and your concerns will be addressed. In an effort to help with the change, we have a dedicated point person at the venue that you may contact directly to help fix things.

It is likely your new seat locations for the June 4th show at Riverbend are of equal quality to those you originally purchased for the May 4th PNC show. You can view the seating arrangements at http://www.riverbend.org/maps.php

Note that the two venues are set up differently and the sections are labeled differently so your seat locations for the June 4th show will NOT exactly match those of your original tickets. If you still have concerns over your seat locations, or anything else related to the change of date and venue, please reach out to Matt Dunne at mdunne@riverbend.org.

To those of you who cannot make the new show day, everyone in the band, as well as the entire Lumineers team are extremely sorry this happened. We’ll miss you, but you can refund your tickets at the place of purchase. Again, we’re sorry for the mess. We’re very excited to be coming through Cincinnati and hope to see you all at the show! Thanks so much for supporting us out on the road.

UPDATE: Information about Ticketing & Weather for December 30th and 31st in Denver

REMINDER: To everyone coming to the New Years Eve shows in Denver, Colorado on Dec 30th and 31st The Ogden Theatre that these shows will be “paperless” shows. To get in you’ll need the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets. THE PERSON WHO PURCHASED THE TICKETS MUST BE PRESENT WITH ID AND THE CREDIT CARD USED AT TIME OF PURCHASE IN ORDER TO ENTER.

Because of this please be very weary of anyone selling tickets to these shows on Stub Hub or any other secondary ticketing sites. There are NO Paper Tickets for these shows, and therefore, the only way ownership of tickets can be transferred is if the person who you are buying tickets from actually shows up with you, their ID, and the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

Also, it is going to be very Cold out before the shows so please plan accordingly! Doors open at 8pm, please have ID’s and Credit Cards ready to help keep the line moving as fast as possible. Make sure to bundle up and stay warm.

We hope everyone understands that this is all in an effort to ensure that as many tickets as possible find their way to our fans, and not to scalpers.

February Schedule Changes and Added Washington DC Show

Hey everyone, today we are announcing changes to our 2013 tour schedule. Due to scheduling conflicts our shows in Philadelphia (Upper Darby), Boston and Pittsburgh all have new dates. See below for the new/changed dates. If you have purchased tickets for these shows, don’t worry, they will be honored. If you cannot attend the new date, refunds are available at your point of purchase.

In addition, we’ve added a show in Washington, DC – details and on sale dates are below. Looking forward to seeing you out there and thanks for all of the support.

Update Regarding Ottawa Folk Festival

Unfortunately due to a conflict with the band’s schedule, The Lumineers will no longer be performing at this year’s Ottawa Folk Festival. The band is extremely disappointed that they will not be a part of the festival this year. They will do everything possible to make it up to their fans in Ottawa, and all over Canada, in the coming months. Given this unfortunate news, their is a silver lining. The Ottawa Folk Fest is pleased to announce that Hey Rosetta will take the place of The Lumineers on Sept 10 prior to Bon Iver.

Chicago Fans – thanks for the support! Our two shows at Logan Square sold out unbelievably quickly this morning. This unfortunately has caused some issues – some fans not being able to get tickets, and some scalpers getting them and charging very high prices. But stay tuned for an announcement about Chicago tickets next Monday 8/13. Those of you on the mailing list will get it first, so if you aren’t on it check out the sign up on our front page (right side, half way down the page). We’re sorry for any confusion while trying to buy tickets this morning, also scalpers suck for everyone. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM SCALPERS OR WEBSITES LIKE TICKET STUB. You’ll have a chance to get tickets, and you’ll find out how early next week. Don’t support the scalpers and their lame business tactics.
